Brake pedal when pushed hard goes to the floor. Brake pedal when pressed normal has a spongy feel to it. Almost ran into the back end of a car that was stopped at a stop sign because I was expecting the vehicle to stop when I applied the brakes but the vehicle continued until I pressed the brake pedal hard. Vehicle makes horrendous noise "popping sound" when the abs system is engaged. This popping sound happens every time between 30 -45 miles per hour during a "hard' brake situation. These incidents have been reported to the dealer on 3 occasions but the dealer said the abs system and brakes checked out ok according to Ford's specifications.
