1 Headlights problem

Failure Date: 09/01/2010

The contact owns a 2010 Ford Fusion. While driving at any speed, the contact noticed that the headlights would not allow her see beyond ten feet. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer where the contact was informed that the vehicle was performing normally. The current and failure mileages were approximately 4,000.

2 Headlights problem

Failure Date: 02/14/2007

The headlights are excessively directional and fail to light the road on low beam. When driving on a road with hills and curves, the headlights do not light the valleys when at the top of the hills and do not light the road sufficiently around corners. If the driver selects high beam, the drivers of oncoming vehicles are blinded, even if driving on a freeway with a wide median when the headlights are pointed across the median while driving around a curve. The only way to see potholes directly in front of the car at night is by turning on the fog lights since the front bumper causes a shadow in front of the vehicle, and the styling of the headlights prevents light from getting to the sides of the vehicle. This is a continuous problem, not a one day event.
