The vehicle was taken to madison Ford (2895 s. Seminole trail, madison, va 22727, (540) 948-6806) where the vehicle was diagnosed with a defective abs control module and abs unit, which needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who performed a brake flush, replaced brake pads and rotors. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The failure mileage was 89,000. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue.
