1 Tire Blowout problem

Failure Date: 01/21/2012

The contact owns a 2009 Ford Fusion equipped with continental contiprocontact tires, size p205/60/r16. The contact stated that while driving 30 mph, both passenger side tires blew out. The vehicle was then towed to a local repair shop, where they were unable to diagnose the failure and stated that the rims and both tires needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The tires were replaced. The failure and current mileages were 19,000.

2 Tire Blowout problem

Failure Date: 07/22/2011

I was driving south on I-495 outside of boston on clean pavement on a hot, sunny day when my right front tire blew out. I did not hit anything. The tire was destroyed, and I had to replace it. The tire had 16,300 miles and good tread.
