Also, the contact indicated that the vehicle failed to accelerate when depressing the accelerator pedal. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who reset the sync my ride feature, but the failures continued. The dealer indicated that the hacker overrode the administrator password in order to hack into the system. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 32,000.
