3 Steering Column problem

Failure Date: 01/04/2018

Got in my vehicle to drive it one day and my steering wheel was very loose. It wobbled on the column. Had to take it into a dealership. When they looked at it said the bolt was loose enough to unscrew with your hand.

4 Steering Column problem

Failure Date: 08/08/2017

The steering wheel came loose. I was able to turn, tilt, rotate, etc on multiple axis (left and right as normal, diagonal, up and down, forward and backward) up to one inch before resistance was met. The motion occurred in the upper part of the steering column, only affecting the steering wheel. I was still able to turn the car, as I could feel the lower part of the steering column respond in the floor. The steering wheels increased movement occurred regardless of driving or stationary status. I have attached the invoice from the mechanic. It shows that the nut holding the steering wheel to the column, which is behind the airbag assembly, had a come loose.
