Instrument Cluster/panel problems of the 2018 Ford Fusion

The contact owns a 2018 Ford Fusion. The contact stated that while driving the infotainment touch screen went black with no warning. The contact stated that the rear view camera and hands-free feature does not wrong. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where the failure was diagnosed with a failed apim(computer). The contact stated the apim (computer) was not communicating with the vehicle. The apim needs to be replaced. The contact stated that the vehicle has not been repaired due to the cost. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact of no recall as well as transferred to NHTSA to file a complaint. The approximate failure mileage was 60,000.
