Rear seatbelt driver side seat belt does not click or buckle at all. Nothing is stuck in it and it has never buckled as long as I’ve had the car.
The accessory power interface module has failed. It receives inputs from a variety of sensors, some hardwired directly to it, while most are sent over the bus communications system from the powertrain control module (pcm). These inputs allow the module to communicate with the steering wheel controls, the radio, navigation system and the consumer's personal cell phone via bluetooth. When I contacted Ford they said there was nothing they were able to do because there is no active recall for this model/year. I strongly feel as if this is a safety hazard due to not only my steering wheel controls being inoperable, but my cruise control, hvac system, and navigation system, rear camera system, audio system, bluetooth, to be faulty and not work. Additionally the on the driver seat the part that the seat belt clicks into broke.
The passenger seat belt is hard to buckle it gets stuck making it hard to even buckle up. And the shifter bushing broke had to use the key in the override shift to get it to shift so I could get it home, my father is the one who found the issue. We will be taking it in to the Ford dealership to be looked at and to get fixed. The shift sys fault service required light did come on prior to it not shifting into gear.
I was driving on the freeway and got into a car accident, I was going 60mph and was only able to slow down to 40mph. My airbags didn't even go off with such a big impact and rear ending someone, and my seatbelt didn't lock until after I flew forward hitting the steering wheel.
Passenger rear seat belt latch not allowing seatbelt to latch, have to try several times before latch will work, this is usually when the vehicle is parked and not in motion.
In mid-February 2018, after just over 1 month of ownership and with 939 miles on the vehicle, the front passenger seat belt became locked while not in use. The seatbelt was locked not in use unable to be used. This was discovered while the vehicle was parked in an outdoor parking space at the owner's home. The vehicle had not been involved in any collisions. The seatbelt and pre-tensioning system was replaced by the dealership under warrenty.
When seat belt is detached from either driver or passager no indicator while driving. It indicates after driving for 2 minutes.
