The vehicle was taken to the dealer for recalls, I was told all the recalls with a door latch were fixed. Now the door latch won’t close and the door stays open. Reached out to Ford and since it is the weekend Ford is ignoring the matter until a dealer is open and it can be towed there. This is a safety matter that Ford is ignoring.

Passenger side door openned while driving. Passenger could have been exposed. Vehicle next to car could have been damaged. The vehicle is being taken to the dealer for another safety recall.
My driver's side door would not open from the inside, I would have to have someone let me out from the outside. This is very dangerous and if I had not been in a safe spot to exit the car it could have been bad. There was no warning or damage to the car leading up to this. My mechanic said that he has had at least 3 other Ford Fusions come in with the same problem. I have another friend who had the same issue with her Ford Fusion and the dealer said that there was not a recall so there was nothing they could do.
My driver side door will not close. I noticed this when I tried to shut the door and it just bounced open. No warning! I do not feel safe driving around, knowing my door can open and have myself flung from the vehicle. Same issue as the 20v177000 recall but somehow my car is not under this recall. I purchased this car in new hampshire but have lived in arizona since 2017. I see this recall is due to high temperatures and know this is the issue as I take care to never slam my doors. I’ll be taking it to jim click Ford dealership for repairs ASAP but I hope to be reimbursed for this in the coming months.
Driver side interior door handle stopped working. Unable to open the door from the inside. This is very dangerous if there was an emergency need to exit the vehicle. This happened when I stopped to buy gas and was unable to get out when I turned off the car.
