Vsa Warning Light On Problems of Ford Fusion

I was driving upon making a left hand turn in the city the steering wheel became very difficult to turn, the stability control light and traction lights all lit up on the dashboard, basically felt like the power steering gave out. I'm not sure the cause of this or how it can be resolved. I also noticed everytime I refuel the vehicle and start it up the rpms will drop as if the vehicle is going to shut off and becomes hesitant for a few mins while parked at the pump and then it idles back normal.

My family financed our 2010 Fusion sel in September of 2011, was certified used with 7,900 miles, purchased with extended warranty as well. My mom and my sister drove the car for about 7 years, they loved it and had no issues with it. They passed it down to me in 2018 when I got my license, my mother told me how to take care of our cars and what not to do, we don't abuse our vehicles. The first major issue was the throttle body that completely went out after accelerating from a green light it felt like my transmission was going to fall out of my car, with the rpm jumping up and down, shifted horribly. I then drove my possessed car to the nearest dealer, the throttle body was replaced the same day in may of 2018 under warranty and worked fine ever since (sometimes). They said this is a common issue. Extremely leaky 17' rims causing multiple mornings where I woke up to a flat tire. Ford said nothing they can do even though it's the same stock rims since we've bought it (same problems even with new tires). Tire pressure sensor fault that's been faulty since 2018 especially in the cold, took it to the dealership and they claimed they fix it, but they didn't. And now I feel like my steering is going out, I sometimes lose power whenever I turn left, the orange stabilitrak/stability lights up on my dash and is a little rough, in April of 2020 I turned into my driveway turning left, my engine completely stalled, if I wouldn't have straightened out my steering I would have completely hit the corner of my porch. I'm afraid to drive this car on the freeway, both engine and steering issues? dealer says it's normal and that it's fine. Right. . Not what carcomplaints. Com says I'm 18 about to graduate and go to college in September, I currently have no job due to the quarantine, and might have to consider purchasing a new Fusion before my current car injures/kills me.

While driving the vehicle on a main city street (straight away) the electronic stability system lights came on along with the abs light and the vehicle proceeded to try and stop on its own without me applying pressure to the brakes. It has done this multiple times and I have already contacted the nearest Ford dealership. I have 2 small children and I am in fear of driving my vehicle.

I took my car to sheehy Ford of marlow heights for the airbag recall repair. Upon picking the car up after it was "fixed", there are now 3 lights on my dash that were not previously there. These lights are the airbag light, the stability control light, and the service wrench. The dealership will not cooperate as far as fixing this.

Steering difficult. Hillside assist deactivated. Antilock brakes light on. Stability control light on. Happened driving in wet conditions at 55mph on county highway. No bumps or curves. Lights illuminated. At the same time steering became harder and a less responsive.

"takata recall lost power steering ,stability light and anti skid lights came on was on a side street , moving about 20 mph when it just went out . If this had happened at high speeds on the interstate someone would have been killed luckily my husband was with me and was managed to drive it home, this has a lot of complaints on line and a recall should be issued !!!.

Car was traveling 60mph on straight road when it jerked and wrench light and check engine light and abs and stability lights came on. Pulled to side of road and shut off car. Restarted and drove 100 feet and wrench light came back on and once again pulled over to shoulder to restart car. After 2nd restart it drove fine for 15 minutes and then stalled completely, once again restarted car and drove 5 feet it once again stalled and lost all power. Restarted and drove for 10 minutes to have it start jerking at a stop light and then stall out once I pulled into work.

I bought the car used from carmax on April 5, 2014 with less than 15,000 miles on it. Apparently it passed their comprehensive 125 pt inspection. Since I had to be back at work later this week, was driving back to sacramento, California in oregon on my way back from seattle, wa after dropping my daughter off at college. Made a lane change at 60 mph and noticed the stability control light on and the messages "service advancetrac now" and "service powersteering now" come on (I am deaf so I can't hear the chimes). Steering became a increasingly difficult, especially on the I-5 on the mountain passes in oregon. I slowed down and was able to pull over to the nearest rest stop. Turned the car off to let it rest and turn it back on. Stability control light was off but service powersteering now message still came on at slower speeds. Stability control light came back on again with the "service advancetrac now" message displaying. Did this a few times with the same results and steering became increasingly difficult. Was able to get the car to my aunt's who lives nearby in oregon. Since the car is still under warranty, my aunt called Ford who then sent out a tow truck to have it towed to the nearest Ford dealership in roseburg, or. Where it's being looked at. Did some research and came across all these recent complaints for the same year and model of my car. Never had anything like that happened to me before and it was a scary experience. I or someone else could've been killed from this issue. It seriously needs to be addressed and dealt with.
