I was warned in July 2016 that my passenger airbag is unsafe. I called, was told they expected parts by December 2016. I was never contacted about a repair. I received a letter 12/17 stating that the airbag could injure a passenger, parts are not available and they dont expect parts until spring 2018. The letter states not not allow anyone to sit in the front passenger seat which is impossible for me my dealership refuses to help. I contacted Ford customer relations and was disconnected and ultimately told they cannot take calls and try again later. I want a loaner vehicle or rental vehicle until my airbag can be repaired.

Takata recall. I just bought a used car only to find out it is under this dangerous and possibly deadly recall. Ford says parts are not available to fix it, and they have no estimate of when they will be. After watching the NHTSA video on the takata problem, this is clearly an unacceptable answer, especially since we bought and older car and live in a hot, humid climate!! I don't want my family members to be at risk of metal parts flying out of the airbag in the event of a crash!.

Takara recall, still not repaired, was told not to drive it. Wife wanted a safe vehicle, but could not trade the Ford fusion 2010, because of recall. Did not get letter from Ford about them providing a vehicle until repairs to air bag could be completed. Ask for reimbursement for the amount of what they were going to pay any rental fees. They refused. Car is sitting and want relief under the lemon law.

Takata recall - received a letter July 2016 noting the recall issue. I've called 6 times over the course of 15 months (last 10/31/2017). Wade Ford in smyrna, GA dealership advised no parts. Received tk holdings notification October 2017 relevant to contact the dealership for repair; however, the dealership is stating they are not able to repair issue.

As I was driving to the store the power steering service light came on and the service advance trac and it become hard to steer. . So now its parked because dealership said it would cost $1500 to fix which I don't have . . After research most models just 2011 and up have this recall. I think 2010 should also be a recall their are several complaints about it.

Currently there is recall on the passager airbad. I inqured at the dealer for a loaner car untill my car is fixed. Such offer was denied. I was told that there has been only one issue witha Ford mustang. One is too many. Also I was told that the highway safety department gave insturctions that the vehicle can be driven untill the airbag issue is taken care of. I am not sure if this is corrent. In any case, this is wrong, even if there was only one death. I purchased the vehicle from Ford, and I was told that it was a safe car, now 5 years down the road I find out that it is not. Your help with this matter is very much appreciated.
