Acceleration went out. Just quit working while on interstate. Fortunately was able to coast over three lanes to shoulder. Ford dealer mechanic told me "have to reset computer. That it happens". It was second time it happened. First time was three years ago while pulling out of parking lot.

The contact stated that the front seat passenger sustained injuries to the head and face that required medical attention. The vehicle was towed to independent mechanic but was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 36,000.
