The contact owns a 2019 Ford fusion energi. The contact stated that while his wife was driving in the rain at an undisclosed speed, she noticed that water was leaking inside the vehicle from the sunroof. The contact's wife was able to continue to drive the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who diagnosed that the drains surrounding the sunroof were clogged. The dealer informed the contact that he would be responsible for the cost of the repair. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to NHTSA. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 29,000.
