Three problems related to brake disc have been reported for the 1996 Ford Mustang. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
My car has been to the dealer twice for this problem and will be back next week for the same problem. The steering wheel shudders, becoming severe at speeds of 50mph or higher. When braking the wheel pulls hard, the pedal must be pumped to keep from steering right. If you brake hard the wheel "jerks"hard causing you to loose hold of the steering wheel if you are not expecting it. The rotors have been cut twice to correct the problem, this time it has made it much worse.
Brake vibration when used and noise when not in use. Brake pedal is sometimes stiff and sometimes very soft. Dealer has had in to fix numerous times and has never fixed problem.
While driving the vehicle the front brakes grab to the right when driver come across a bump in the road. Took vehicle to dealer, and they said that the rear end of the bocton is out.
