Four problems related to engine stall have been reported for the 1999 Ford Mustang. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
1999 Ford Mustang gt- automatic transmission. Engine stalls instead of idling when vehicle is started, comes to rest or during low speed maneuvers.
Engine has constant problem of stalling missfiring,hesitates,loss of power,always in and out of dealership they cannot fix problem. Stalled one time in middle of busy intersection.
When driving the vehicle at any given time and speed the engine will stall out and the power brakes and steering will also cut off. Dealer has seen vehicle about 7 times, and problem can't be duplicated.
Applying brakes the engine will stall and kill suddenly and the power stearing and breaking will not work.
