Three problems related to suspension have been reported for the 1999 Ford Mustang. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The contact owns a 1999 Ford Mustang. While driving 35 mph, the contact heard a loud noise. The noise was caused by the aluminum rim splitting in half, causing the right front wheel to turn on its own. The wheel detached from the vehicle and the frame dropped. The contact had the vehicle towed to his residence. The current and failure mileages were 96,000.
Was driving v when vehicle started to vibrate severely. After arriving home, placed vehicle on hoist and checked beneath it.
Dealer can not diagnose, says its normal suspension settling.
