Tire Bubble problems of the 2000 Ford Mustang

While the car was being driven on a highway, the tire suddenly shredded and came off the rim at a 45 degree angle. When the car was brought to the dealer the next morning, the salesman told my husband that this was the third time that he knew of that tire suddenly coming apart. While the car was at the dealership another Mustang, with only 500 miles, experienced the same thing , after noticing a bubble in the tire.
