Aug 13 I was involved in a rollover accident due to tire tread separation. It was the 4th tire of the set that had gone bad. After the 2nd tire went bad, I tried to get the tire dealer to send it in for inspection/defect. He refuse and the accident occurred 3 weeks later.
The air bags in my 2001 Ford Mustang gt, deployed without cause. There was no impact or sudden stop. There was no reason for them to deploy. Ford says it that they deployed from an impact, yet there is no damage to the vehicle. They would not cover it under warranty and I had to go thru my insurance company to get them replaced.
While driving at 35mph and with no warning air bag deployed. It could cause serious injuries toe consumer. Dealer will be notified.
