My daughter, while driving our 2002 Ford Mustang, stopped behind a truck ahead of her that was stopped at a stop sign. The truck pulled forward as if to go, then stopped suddenly in front of her. She ran into the back of his truck going less than 5 mph and her airbags deployed.
I was driving through a construction site. The vehicle was stopped at a red light about the 4th or 5th car back. I drove forward and as I was coming through the intersection where the was a change in road height of about 4 to 5 inches. My engine cross member bottomed out on the road and caused my airbags to deploy. I was not traveling very fast, at the most 15 mph. No other damage to the vehicle occurred either.
