1 Clutch Bell Housing problem

Failure Date: 08/18/2008

At 60000 miles my transmission failed. It was leaking internally from the bell housing to the transmission. This caused the transmission to get hot. There were not outward signs of problems. No external leaks or any sensors warning me. Since I could not afford the exorbitant extended warranty, I had to pay over $3000 to have it repaired. I think this is unfair to the consumer. My car is only half way paid off and I have heard since this has happened to me of other consumers having the same problem. I am a 43 year old woman and not a teenager hot rodding a car. I will never buy a Ford again or use randall not dealership.
