Takata inflators. I have been trying since last August to get the recall done on both my front airbags. First the dealer(charles gabus Ford in desmoines iowa)promised me a loaner car for the day my car would be in the shop, only to travel there 40 miles and then they say they had none available. Then I contacted Ford motor CO. Recall department just to try to get my name off of their recall mailing list due to the fact that they don't really take this recall seriously. After requesting to talk to a supervisor because I was getting nowhere with this woman ,she simply hung up on me.
Takata recall - there has been a recall on the passenger frontal airbag inflator since June 1, 2016 and still no remedy available. We haven't been driving the vehicle very much since the passenger side is unsafe if we were to be involved in an accident.
Takata inflators. I have been waiting & waiting. Finally, I recieved a notice from Ford motor company that the repair is available & to contact the dealer for the repair. I did, however, the dealer politely informed me that they do not know why Ford would send out these notices when in fact, they still do not have the parts. Extremely frustrating for all parties involved. It has been over a year now & still unable to use the vehicle.
"takata recall" - received a recall notice in 2016 concerning defective inflators in air bags. Contacted local Ford dealer on numerous occasions (6+). Dealer will not return my calls. Was told today that repair parts are still not available. This is not an acceptable length of time to get a recall repaired. I would expect better service from Ford than I have received. Currently I own a 2005 Mustang with only 84,000 miles and I can not have a passenger in the front seat area. Unacceptable!!! it has been over 18 months. Again unacceptable!!.
Takata recall. Ford sent a safety recall notice dated December 2017, in regards to a passenger side airbag inflator: 16s26. In this letter, Ford tells me there will be no parts available until at a minimum of spring 2018, and word for Ford: "warning: until remedy parts become available, do not allow anyone to sit in the first row passenger seat. The air bag could rupture during deployment in a crash and cause injuries or death. When the front row passenger seat is not occupied, the passenger air bag will not deploy, eliminating the risk. " Ford customer service has stated there are no loaners due to this. . Just that I cannot have any passengers in my car. I do not feel safe for myself and my family, and find it ridiculous my only option is to not have any passengers. Ford needs to legally provide a rental car as they feel they don't need to assist the customers they are putting in danger.
Takata inflators takata still has not made available recall replacement airbag for passenger seat.

Takata recall: I received a notice several months ago informing me that the passenger frontal inflator could rupture if my vehicle was involved in a crash where the frontal airbags are designed to deploy. I was told I would receive further instructions once the parts were received. I have yet to receive any more instructions. I am about to take a cross country trip with this vehicle and would greatly appreciate having this matter resolved prior to starting this trip, and endangering my passenger.

"takata recall" - I received my letter on July 2016 stating I needed to replace the passenger frontal airbag inflator. Since this date I have made 5 attempts to have someone give me a schedule as to when this issue will be resolved. One year later I am still getting the run around from Ford. On July 17, 2017 I contacted the Ford michigan headquarters and they told me to call customer relations at 800-392-3673. The conversation began with the same excuse that they were working on the problem and I would receive a letter when the air bag could be replaced. It was at that time I stated I wanted them to open a case file for me. The number I received for the open case is cas12729115. Not allowing anyone to sit in the passenger seat for one year has caused an enormous burden on my family for fear that serious injury may result. Your help in this matter will be greatly appreciated.

Takata recall - Ford motor CO. Has not replaced the inflator in my passenger side airbag in a timely manner! the recall was issued June 1, 2016. I live in zone a (high humidity). 2005 Ford Mustang. Consumer writes in regards to replacement parts not available to repair driver side air bag inflator recall notice. The consumer stated it has been nearly a year, since he received the first recall.
Takata inflators I received a letter advising my Mustang was recalled due to airbags I just spoke with university Ford in chapel hill nc and was advised that they were replacing recalled airbag with same airbag as a temperary fix to send the removed airbag to Ford for study. They would get in touch with me when a permanent fix was available. It does not make sense to replace with a temporary fix. My other vehicle a Toyota, airbag was replaced by dealer with none of this run around if there is a recall then I deserve to have a permanent fix not a temporary one. While Ford is dragging their feet my son who drives this car is in danger of losing his life. I kean this is either a recall or a stall and sounds like Ford is stalling at the cost of the lives of people driving their cars. Why would I replace an airbag with one of the same type when the replacement might be defective and the one they took out for study might turn out to be fine. Ford needs to step up as the other manufacturers have. Toyota did not do a temporary fix, they fixed the problem.
