The contact owns a 2005 Ford Mustang. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the speedometer and several unknown gauges on the instrument cluster became inoperable. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed that the instrument cluster needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 56,981.

2 Instrument Cluster/panel problem

Failure Date: 07/07/2011

The contact owns a 2005 Ford Mustang. The contact stated day after a rain storm the contact noticed several warning light illuminated from the vehicle and as well electrical issue coming from the vehicle such as the exterior front driver and passenger headlight would not work due to the water leaking into the interior of the vehicle, which caused water into the interior of the dashboard as well as water coming out of the driver side front air vent, also the interior lighting in the vehicle from the interior module and center console the lights was flickering and going in and out. The contact took the vehicle to a local dealer to have inspected the vehicle however the dealer was not able to diagnosed the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 40,000.
