Driving down the road (luckily 4 lanes with a turning lane in middle). . . The car shuts off & I'm rolling. I roll to the middle lane, apply brakes. And I put in park & restart. This has happened numerous times. It happens when I take off or sharp turn. It shouldn't do this.
A complete failure of the electrical system due to a design flaw where a main electrical wire harness inside the firewall on the drivers side fills up with water over time and soaks the wire harness causing a complete failure of the car to operate. This leading to a breakdown in traffic and dangerous necessity to get out into traffic to escape electrical smoke.
I have 4 Mustangs- 85lx and an,05-06-07 4,0s the 3 0? have water leaks on the passenger side, water comes in and ends up in back seat panel. I looked up everything online about this problem and im not! the only one with this problem. It is not the window it's coming in from somewhere? from front to back.
In, mo-city-street-parked, I have 4 stangs -85lx and 3 others, 05-06-07- and in the (05-06-07 ) all 3 leak water into the cars passengers side. . I checked everything drain vents drain sack and if it rains! I end up with 3-4-5 inches of water in the car. 85 is the only one that don't leak!.
My complaint is about the complaints on here. I think most are made up and or faked. I have owned new 2005 Mustang gt, new 2007 shelby gt, used 2008 shelby gt 500, used 2009 shelby gt 500, and currently 2007 roush gt, dating back over 12 years, and I have not experienced any of the issues reported here. No fueling problems, no water leaks, no throttle problems, no paint issues, no brake problems, no electrical issues, no clutch/transmission issues, in fact, other than the 2007 shelby gt being too low for practical street use, there have been no problems at all. They have all been good reliable trouble free cars and I submit that those who have reported all of these problems are either misleading, for some reason wanting to trash this model, or simply clueless, and/or have abused the car. I find no problems whatsoever.
"takata recall" . I was notified over a year ago from today , October 19 2017 , about the recalls for the driver side and the passenger side airbags . I have had the drivers side replaced at my local Ford dealership , but they keep telling me there is no replacement/fix for the passenger side yet . It's been well over a year and I use this vehicle regularly with my 11 year old son in the passenger seat . I have anxiety every time I drive the vehicle and would like to let whoever needs to know that this is very unacceptable and it needs to be resolved now. Over a year for our safety is ridiculous . When it rains, there is water all over the front passenger seat of the floor. It isn't the heater core, I've had that checked! I was told that it could be a seal. This has been happening for about 3 years. Please help!!!.
The dealership is unable to repair my vehicle they say they don't have the parts to do so.

When I first got the car in 2007 about a week later got off the freeway got to the stop light the car shut off no warning signs, I was able to start the right up. The car has done this a few times (6) no mechanic can tell why this happens. I'm afraid that one day I'm going to be on the freeway and the car is going to stop and their is going to be a deadly accident.
When it rains water leaks from under the dashboard passenger side all over the floor. This has been happening for 1 year now.

The vehicle while shifting gears is in 3rd gear is changing rpm's. The rpm's are moving vastly from lower end to top end. The car has very low miles and recently purchased 7 months ago and only placed 3000 miles since purchase. The warranty company will not cover the problem. I reached out to Ford because there are some forums that state this part that is making car do this is the clutch and gives out very early after manufacturing of the car, they said they are unable to help me but if there is a recall they will let us know. We feel this part is defective to give out in 3000 miles since purchase and see there are several people with same complaints online.
Traveling south bound on i65 on Friday may 23,2014 just north exit 325 and hit a sink hole. Passenger side front and rear tires and wheels were damaged.
Affected parts: clutch. The clutch has required replacement (slipping) three times in 44,571 miles. First problem occurred at approx. 10,000 miles (replaced by Ford under warranty). The second problem occurred at approx. 24,000 miles (replaced by Ford under warranty). The third problem occurred at 44,571 miles and Ford is refusing to do anything, the Ford premium care extended warranty refuses to honor the extended warranty. They now claim it is a "maintenance" issue. My vehicle is a 2007 shelby Mustang gt500 and it is not listed in the above drop down box.
We have been having a lot of rain lately. We purchased the car in January. After a hard rain the floor board on the passenger side front would have about 2 inches of stinky water standing. When investigating on line I guess this is a issue with most Mustang owners. If you park where any leaves or dirt can collect in the firewall under the windshield. There are two rubber seals that get plugged with dirt and stuff which causes the fire wall to fill with water and back up into the car. If you pull the plugs out clean out the dirt the water flows out. The first time we pulled out the plugs we got about two gallons of nasty water that poured into the driveway. We check it every couple weeks now, as long as we clean plugs no problem??? is there a permanent fix for this issue. We had quite a smell in the car had to have it deep cleaned!!.
The emergency brake cord broke.
Purchase 2007 Mustang new and immediately began having low tires every other day, dealer told me it was normal, never did anything. Had to re-inflated tires at least twice a week. Felt rough handling and dealer said was normal because car is a sports car. January 2013 all 4 pirelli p6 tires simultaneously split, tore, and sidewalls developed instantaneous rips and all tires went flat within seconds causing me to lose control of my car, hit my head before regaining control and stopping car. Vehicle had to be flatbed towed first home and then to a tire dealer after my dealer wouldn't help me, Ford motor wouldn't help me, pirelli tire wouldn't help. I had to replace all 4 super expensive tires plus the additional flatbed tow, installation and balancing and this has been a problem Ford and pirelli knew about since 1993 but intentional kept installing the defective pirelli p6 tires. I was blessed to escape with my life! what if I'd been going faster or on the freeway? the president of pirelli tire company, president of Ford motor company,and Ford motor credit as well as my car dealer all blatantly ignored me and refused to help me with the defective tires they knew about all along. Fourteen years before my dealer sold me my Mustang they knew about the defective pirelli p6 tires and their destined ultimate failure yet still intentionally sold the Mustang to me with the defective tires recklessly endangering my life to save money for themselves, how sad. Then unable to pay my car note on time because of the unnecessary financial burden of having to replace all the tires, Ford motor credit who knew all along and was told by me, chose to lie to the court about why I was late making my payment and took my Mustang away from me that I had been faithfully paying for for over 7+ years. I lost my dream car because of greed by Ford motor, pirelli tire company and Ford motor credit!.
When it rains my car is leaking water behind the glove box. Considering the fact that my car had very low mileage when purchased I do not feel that I should have to pay to have this issue fixed. They even did a car fax and it showed no problem but according to doing some research this seems to be a common problem as well as with the shaker 500 my c. D.
