When vehicle is placed in park while on, vehicle rolls forward . Put vehicle in park on the side of the road to answer a phone call. Was pulled up behind another vehicle and car rolled forward, and rear ended vehicle in front of me. The police were notified but no citation was given another time vehicle was in park and running and ran over somebodies foot. Very unacceptable.
Abs and traction control have quit working. . .
I was simply going up a slight hill and the wrench light turned on I lost power she still accelerated but sluggish and changing gears was sluggish too. Turned it off at the house made sure my cai was good and the light is off. I see tons upon tons of people complaining about the wrench light and the throttlebody. No codes. Something is wrong with them I see people have trouble with 12k on their throttle body. I wanted to go on here to say that I believe it is extremely dangerous for the issue to come and go especially on busy roads. The problem comes and goes without a trace. So dangerous it deserves a recall just like my airbag and the hundreds of thousands who reported it.
The car make a ticking noise when you turn the air or heat on it’s been going on 3 years now.
Front seat bolt broken. . .
Car was stopped in driveway while exiting to open garage door using button in garage. Got back into car and put car in drive to pull into garage. Car took off out of control. Brakes did not slow vehicle. It kept accelerating without pressing gas pedal. Brakes did absolutely nothing to stop vehicle. Vehicle stopped only after busting through a brick wall in rear of garage.
My Mustang is blistering on the passenger side hood in the front at the "lip" it is blistering now however I have found through the internet, Ford knows of the problem and has ignored fixing it. I was turned down for repair siting "out of warranty" I contend it is not a warranty issue rather than a fraud. Ford has issued a TSB on the issue but fails to cover cost to fix it. At 70mph the paint could fly off and hinder my view.
On interstate I-12 heading west at 70 miles per hour approaching abita exit, car killed and coasted to side in alot of traffic and would not start, almost got rear ended, would not restart, towed to Ford (supreme Ford) dealer in slidell, la. Very dangerous conditions.
Paint is bubbling on hood and blistering on rear bumper.
I was leaving a parking lot and making a right turn onto a street. The driver's door flew open. I was able to stop and close the door before there was any type of crash and no injury. During late 2012 I had noticed a problem with the driver's door not latching when I closed it. When inside the car I made a point of closing the door firmly. When parking the car I developed the habit of hitting the door latch to be certain it was closed securely. There was one other time after the first instance the door opened unexpectedly when driving but I was able to close the door, again without incident or injury. I bought a new door handle through the Ford dealership from which I'd purchased the car and had it installed in sept 2014. I was told that it was the handle that wasn't working and not a bigger problem in the door. I ordered the car about 5-27-09 and took delivery 8-11-09.
