Suspension problem #1

I was driving one day when I began to hear a knocking sound on my vehicle. I then took the time to look up the recall on my current vehicle and it had mentioned “rear suspension knuckles (24s49): certain vehicles have defective rear suspension castings that can fail, leading to loss of vehicle control”. I just got off the phone with Ford and they expressed me how I do not have that recall under my VIN however I am experiencing the exact same description of what is going on and I am trying to get it looked at, but when I told them that I need this issue resolved before something major happens to my vehicle. They had told me that I had to pay for the diagnostic fee as well as it may not be covered once it is fixed. The sound has only got louder and I am afraid I will be driving and something serious will happen.

Suspension problem #2

The contact owns a 2024 Ford Mustang. The contact stated that while driving 35 mph, the contact felt a jolt from the rear driver’s side of the vehicle and heard the rear driver’s side tire rubbing. The contact stopped vehicle on the side of the road and had the vehicle towed to a local dealer, where the vehicle was diagnosed, and the contact was informed that the rear suspension knuckle had failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact referenced NHTSA campaign number: 24v593000 (suspension); as possible cause for the failure. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 13,000.
