Two problems related to tire bead have been reported for the 1996 Ford Taurus. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Defective valve stem on yoko avid trz-item # yh03720655t bought at merchant's tire. The valve stem cracked at the base causing the tire to go flat. The tire bead was ruined by the time I pulled over.
The aluminum on all four wheels is chipping off causing the tires to lose air, I have to put air in the tires on a daily basis, I feel this is unsafe riding on tires that are low on air.
