One problem related to air brake hoses, lines/piping, and fittings has been reported for the 1997 Ford Taurus. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While driving traffic light was changing, went to pump the brakes, the brakes failed. The only way to stop the vehicle was to pull the emergency brake lever. Brake line completely rusted from the front to the back.
