One problem related to clutch pedal/linkage has been reported for the 1997 Ford Taurus. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Ford referred to their service bulletin number 98-3-7 when this problem occurred. After researching the forward clutch piston failure I found that this is a major complaint with the Ford vehicles and the original component was made from aluminum. I would like to have this investigated and Ford to recall this part.
