Consumer received a recall letter concerning front coil spring. Failure. Dealer stated that the shield was not available until December. Manufacturer indicated that if the squeaking sound that consumer heard was not the coil spring then consumer would have to pay for repairs. Consumer stated that this seemed to be unfair.
While driving 40 mph rear coil spring failed and punctured the passenger side tire.
Consumer received NHTSA recall 04v332000 notice from manufacturer, involving the coil springs. It has been several months that consumer has waited to get vehicle serviced, but dealer has no parts. . Dealer had no parts for six months. Had vehicle towed to fairoaks dealership. Was satisfied with fairoaks work. Vehicle was making aloud sounding noise on the front right. Fairoaks fixed it in three days after getting the parts.
