Five problems related to side/window air bag have been reported for the 1999 Ford Taurus. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While driving both airbags deployed, but passenger's side air bag had a hole in it which caused passenger minor injuries because it was not fully deployed. Please provide any further informaton.
Consumer had a front end collison and air bags did not deploy. Driver/passenger sustained injuries. At the time of front end collision the hood came in through windsheild on right side. Seat belt failed in rear which is holding child's seat. Back rest on left back seat came loose.
Vehicle was at a stop when it was rearended & pushed into a truck in front in which it hit another vehicle. Upon impact from rear, seat belts failed to tighten up, air bag on driver's side failed to deploy. Driver suffered injuries to upper & side of neck and spine. Was thrown around.
While driving at 25 mph hit a manhole within the road and the front wheels went into the manhole, and the cradle that protects the engine hit the manhole ,to set off the air bag sensor which caused the driver's side/ passenger's side air bags to deploy. Cover to the air bags flew into the windshield and cracked the windshield glass, and glass got inside the vehicle. Dashboard was damaged by the air bags.
Consumer was involved in a unknown collision, traveling 40 mph in which neither driver's side nor passenger's side air bags deployed, causing injuries to the driver's side occupant. Also, vehicle wa s totaled. Please provide any further details.
