Two problems related to transmission sensor have been reported for the 1999 Ford Taurus. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
I have had my car for 2 years and in that time I have had the transmission replaced twice and rebuilt once. Everytime I have had it worked on it was because the car would not go into gear. I have also had to replace a speed sensor, O2 sensor, and a transmission turbo sensor. All of this has happened from 6-02 thu 10-03.
Transmission sensors were replaced but the transmission still slips and car will rev to high rpms, while applying the break the steeing wheel shakes, and when you let off the accelarator, the car does not slow down.
