Consumer was backing out of driveway and noticed that driver's side head rest was too big. In order to look around to make sure traffic was clear in view of looking into mirrior she had to turn her whole body around. Dealership was aware of problem.
Design of the headrest obstructs the view of the driver to look over to left side, and cannot see the "blind spot" in the rear. The over sized head rest on 2000 vehicle are dangerous because it limited visibility over the driver's left shoulder, and it is impossible to view an infant inchild seat behind the driver.
Headrest in rear of vehicle are too tall. It's blocking visibility on both sides of vehicle.
The driver has difficulty seeing over the head rest attempting to change lanes, the consumer is 5'2" and uses a car seat which raises her 2 inches, she believes the configuratin of the vehicle interfers with views at different seeing levels. Nlm.
Consumer removed head rests, since consumer is only 5 feet tall, she could not see out the rear window due to the head rests being too high, dealer stated there are no smaller head restraints that can fit into holes that hold the head rests.
