The contact owns a 2003 Ford Taurus. The contact stated that the vehicle's cooling fan has failed. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who found that the blower motor had failed along with the cooling fan. The failure was caused by water entering inside of the cow panel. The failure of the blower motor caused the cooling resister to work intermittently. The current and failure mileages were 75,000.
Blower motor resistor failed on heating and air conditioning system where it would work on high only. Part replaced and it is now working, apparently, this is a common problem with the 2003 Ford Taurus.

This is a factory defect and that was mentioned to the dealer several times but they state it was not written down so they would not honor the warranty.
