I own a 2008 Ford Taurus x which has a major problem with the tires. If the tires get low or if the tread gets below a certain amount the car will suddenly come to a complete stop-sometimes in the middle of making a turn. It feels like the front tires are snowplowing (pigeon toe) and the car will not move. It will resume after a few seconds but unfortunately I have had it happen while I was pulling out into traffic.
Submitted this yesterday but gave incorrect e-mail address. Clunking sound on some roads coming from tires on a 2008 Ford Taurus x automobile. Complained to dealer and they replaced two front pirelli p225/60r18 p6 tires made in brazil. Dealer said the tires were cupping. After about three weeks the sound is appearing again - possibly on the other two tires. Have you received any complaints from other people?.
