Without any warning or warning lights the electronic power steering system failed, and the turn signal will not remain on unless held manually (new problem that started when the power steering failed). Night driving is unsafe due to the nonexistence of peripheral lighting. When stopped at a stop sign attempting a turn it is completely dark, and only lit when the car has completed the turn. We cannot drive the car after dark due to this extremely dangerous condition.

It would seem someone would look into the plastic head lights on all models of cars. After a few years the head light covers get covered with something that seems to dim the head lights by 50%. This is an ongoing problem that may be causing night time accidents.
