Rearview System Braking problems of the 2016 Ford Taurus

The rear-view camera on my 2016 Ford Taurus limited intermittently malfunctions when the vehicle is placed in reverse. The displayed image flickers and sometimes appears upside down/inverted. The vehicle also sometimes produces inappropriate warning beeps while reversing. There were no warning lamps or messages before the problem began. The malfunction makes the rear-view image unreliable and creates a safety risk while backing because the displayed image may not accurately represent what is behind the vehicle. I cannot safely rely on the camera to identify pedestrians, vehicles, or other obstacles. The problem has occurred repeatedly but has not yet been diagnosed or confirmed by a Ford dealer or independent repair facility. The vehicle and rear-view camera are available for inspection upon request. I am aware that NHTSA recall 25v695 / Ford recall 25sa9 concerns rear-view camera failures in certain 2015-2016 Ford Taurus vehicles. My vehicle exhibits similar symptoms, including an intermittent and inverted rear-view camera image. I have contacted Ford regarding the issue, and they are saying my VIN is not included. Yet, the defect is the same as what is described in the recall. I have escalated my customer service case at Ford.
