Two problems related to gasoline engine have been reported for the 1996 Ford Thunderbird. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Oil gauge pressure varies, brought in twice during warranty, they replaced engine due to slapping rod, got car back oil pressure on gauge still varies high & low.
During inclement weather, design of engine allows water to saturate the air filter, causing engine to cut out.
