The contact owns a 2010 Ford Transit Connect. The contact stated that while driving approximately 30 mph the vehicle drover over pump in the road and both the front drivers side and front passenger side wheel exterior fender flares along with the front grill had dislodged from the vehicle. Upon inspection the contact discovered that the plastic clips attaching the parts to the body of the vehicle had failed. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The manufacturer and local dealer were notified of the failure but no assistance was offered. The failure mileage was 130,000.
