One problem related to front seat belt retractor has been reported for the 1998 GEO Prizm. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The seat belt sensor does not activate dash light when the seat belt is not in use. When the seat belt is in use by people who do not need to pull the belt out very far (I. E. Slender, tall people who leave the seat at the back of the track), the dash light mistakenly is lit.
