Car Stall problems of the 1996 GEO Tracker

Consumer experiencing intermittent stalling,dealer unable to find problem.

2 Car Stall problem

Failure Date: 07/18/1997

Vehicle stalls on occasions.

3 Car Stall problem

Failure Date: 04/30/1997

While driving vehicle stalls for no reason, problem is intermittent. Cause unknown. Consumer states that the engine misses and has a loss of power. Fuel mileage has dropped, and vehicles rmps will drop. The lights dim at night when the idle drops.

4 Car Stall problem

Failure Date: 10/28/1996

While driving vehicle on freeway about 55mph, vehicle would suddenly stall or die out for reason; would have to restart vehicle after coasting to side of road; would happen periodically. Took to dealer 3 times & claimed that problem fixed, but problem still exists.

5 Car Stall problem

Vehicle stalls when gas pedal is applie. ,problem is intermittent, and dealers have replaced throttle body which did not correct problem. Dealers cannot duplicate problem.

6 Car Stall problem

The engine frequent, intermittent stalls, while slowing down, stopping, turning, etc.

7 Car Stall problem

Intermittent stalling.
