One problem related to engine noise has been reported for the 1997 GEO Tracker. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Automatic transmission would slip while changing gears. Rpms would rev up excessively high. Would jerk into gear. Filter was changed twice/oil pan had metal chafings in it/abs brakes make noises & had rotors turned.
