Failure Date: 01/05/1999

Automatic transmission would slip while changing gears. Rpms would rev up excessively high. Would jerk into gear. Filter was changed twice/oil pan had metal chafings in it/abs brakes make noises & had rotors turned.

3 Vehicle Speed Control problem of the 1996 GEO Tracker

Vehicle stalls when gas pedal is applie. ,problem is intermittent, and dealers have replaced throttle body which did not correct problem. Dealers cannot duplicate problem.
