The contact owns a 2010 GMC Acadia. While driving 45 mph, the throttle malfunctioned and the vehicle accelerated rapidly without warning on more than one occasion. The contact stated that the vehicle accelerated to 95 mph. The contact was able to slow the vehicle down by depressing the brake pedal with both feet. Bessette motors in carrington, north dakota was made aware of the failure and replaced the throttle body, but the failure recurred. In addition, the pedal positioning sensor was replaced.
