Wheel problem #1

All four of the goodyear tires that were previously installed had to be replaced earlier this year to cracking. Front tires kept losing pressure and then became flat, was advised by the dealership this was due to the tread cracking.

Wheel problem #2

Goodyear fortera hl p255/65r18 109s tires - my car was parked yesterday for a short time when the rear right tire deflated for no reason. The spare was put on the car and driven 10 miles home. Today the vehicle was driven to the tire repair shop to be looked at because there was a straight crack in the center of the tread. As the car was slowed down to turn in the tire shop the left tire "popped" and deflated. Upon inspection of this tire, the same straight crack in the center of the tire is confirmed. Goodyear recalled this tire for this same issue and the tire needs investigated for additional production times.

Wheel problem #3

Tl- the contact owns a 2015 GMC Acadia equipped with good year tires, tire line: fortera hl, tire size: p255/65r18, and dot number:4bxmardr3514. The contact stated that the front passenger tires was leaking air. The vehicle was taken to goodyear auto service center 1010 e black horse pike, pleasantville, NJ 08232 (609) 641-7694 where they informed that the tires where dry rotten and they needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and informed the contact that the VIN was not included in the NHTSA campaign number: 15t002000(tires) and that the tires will not be repaired for free. The failure mileage was approximately 33,000. Dr.

Wheel problem #4

I have goodyear fortera hl tires on my Acadia and started having problems with them just at 1 month after I leased my car. The first problem was that I ended up with a major flat tire & it was just a big hole in the large tread. Since then the tires never hold inflation. . . All of them. I hydroplane when turning on roads that are only slightly wet and the entire car slides sideways. I now need to replace these tires at just 30,000 miles when the supposed mileage warranty is 60k. There was a recall for this exact tire but the production recall ended at just two weeks prior to when mine were produced. However, my tires are doing the same exact things that the recalled tires did and these should be included in the recall as well. The treads have cracks, splits and pits in them just as the recalled tires and have issues with psi/inflation as well. They are not safe to drive on and need replaced ASAP.
