After placing my car in park, and trying to cut off the engine, it alerts me to "shift to park" . . . I will have to restart my engine, put it in neutral and then back to park, and try again to shut off the car. Sometimes it works on the second attempt, but usually takes 3-4 times of cutting engine off and on, shifting from park to drive to park again. If you attempt to exit the vehicle, the horn will start to honk, and alarm goes off. The car is clearly in park, the shifter can not move forward any further, and the indicator says its in "park" it is only after you press the start/stop button that the alarm indicates it needs to be "shifted into park".
Vehicle does not recognize it's in park. Vehicle won't shut down completely,it honks horn and beeps inside and won't let you lock doors or restart car. Haven't noticed it rolling away like many people state. . . Jerking the shifter seems to get it working so far . . Haven't been stranded yet. Vehicle was stationary in a parking lot.
