After roughly 7000 miles of use the 235/55r20 102v goodyear assurance weatherready tire has a bulge in the sidewall. There are no scuffs or scars on the tire to indicate an impact caused the bulge, it appears there is some sort of separation within the layers of the sidewall. I asked a goodyear retailer to inspect the tire and they said it's automatically considered impact damage if the bulge is in the sidewall and goodyear would not warrant such damage even though there is no evidence such as cuts, scuffs or scars.
