The rear end was replaced four times. Vehicle started to scream. After taking it to the dealer it was discovered the rear end was defective.

2 Rear Suspension problem of the 1998 GMC C1500

Failure Date: 03/31/2001

While driving steering would be free wheeling(oversteering) when making turns. Had lost control of vehcle and hit a post. Managed to take vehicle to dealership, and was informed by the mechanic that there was a defective sensor in steering.

3 Rear Suspension problem of the 1997 GMC C1500

I have taken the truck in to be repaired several times and they only put glue on the rear end. One dealer did contact GMC, but no results. The power steering is not right either.
