One problem related to hydraulic power assist steering system has been reported for the 2002 GMC C2500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Diesel engine quit and it was only equipped with one fuse, and the fuse blew. This resulted in loss of power steering and brakes. . The consumer stated the power steering failed and when that failed it caused the vehicle to have no brakes.
