The tire pressure gauge sensor was reset, but the failure recurred. The manufacturer was notified. The approximate failure mileage was 5.

2 Tire Pressure Monitoring System problem

Failure Date: 05/27/2008

Purchased a new 2007 GMC Canyon with a full size tire and wheel for the spare. Vehicle has a tire pressure warning system that will not work with the spare because it does not have a sensor. The dealer refuses to disable the system or to fix the spare so it will work. Help. . .
