1 Adaptive Cruise Control problem

The contact owns a 2023 GMC Canyon. The contact stated while driving 20 mph, while making a right turn, the left turn signal activated and blinked three times. The contact stated that the adaptive cruise control intermittently activated the brakes independently, and the forward collision avoidance system activated and forced the vehicle to stop abruptly, almost causing a crash. The forward collision avoidance warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or the dealer. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and informed the contact that the parts to repair the vehicle were on backorder. The failure mileage was approximately 2,251.
